Check  loans and requests on the website. The email is unreliable at this time. Even though the email are not getting sent, the requests are being made and are available on the Five Systems site.

How's Five Systems treating you? It underwent a major upgrade over the summer. Please inform us if any problems - we are helping the developer troubleshoot ongoing issues and fix things. Some have had difficulty logging in. Others have noticed missing records that should be visible. Your input helps make Five Systems a valuable tool. Thanks!

Five Systems updated

Your records have been uploaded to Five Systems. We heard from one library that requested a delay because of a big weeding project. Why so much weeding? Chestnut Ridge in Churchville will be 'remodeled' this summer! Unfortunately, the job will run into the fall. Librarian on a cart is no fun. Getting to see redesigned school libraries is fun.

We're looking forward to seeing the NEW Chestnut Ridge Library!

Records for Five Systems

Records are being collected for Five Systems at this time. If you have any reason to postpone collection, please notify the Library Automation Team. We exclude bookrooms and classroom sets. These are not considered library materials and are not suitable for inter-library loan. We do NOT collect any non-book materials like kits or videos.

Request multiple copies in Five Systems!

Multiple copies can be ordered by using the Request & Repeat button at the bottom of the page. This button will submit your request and reload the request page. When the request page is reloaded, the two note fields will maintain their values from the previous page but will be editable. The schools that you have already requested from will be removed from the list.

Here's a few tips from users Lisa Osur and Mary Anne Walker. Put the borrowers name in your 'notes' area. When you send the book back, put the date shipped and the barcode in the lenders note area. The lending library will know the book is on it's way back. All your data will be right there in Five Systems!
When you put the title into Destiny in Circulation (as a temp record) type the title in ALL CAPS and you can even note the lending library or books condition in the Author area.

Your teachers can now search Five Systems using Follett Destiny One Search. They can NOT place orders for themselves because they do not have an account with Five Systems. They can look for books in other public schools and ask the library to request them.
