Call number reports

Call number reports in Destiny can be used to examine and improve your catalog.
Reports>Library Reports>Call Number Reports
. There are 3 options to select from the drop down menu.

1. Copies with call number prefixes
                                2. Copies with different call numbers
                                3. Copies without call numbers

All copies are hyper-linked in the report that displays in Back Office, so the copy record can be accessed for editing easily.

Click here for a 1 page instruction sheet.

Catalog Settings

Catalog Settings
You've always been able to customize the catalog interface for students.

  • Want to sort by ‘Call number’ instead of the 'relevance'? Why? Easier to find items on the shelf.
  • Can you turn off the elementary interface and use standard? Why? The standard shows the open button for SLS eBooks.
  • Do you use the Follett suggested reading and interest levels? Why? If they are cluttering the results page, turn them off. Use the reading programs that your school supports.

To look at these settings, go to Back Office>Site Configuration and click on the Catalog sub tab.

Z Sources in Destiny

AccessPA has been removed because it is no longer accessible.  Mitinet was added at the #1 spot. It is a good source of quality MARC records (including those hard to find dvds). All changes have been made for you. Thanks Karen!
