Inactive Patrons - it is time to go.

November is a good time to remove outdated student records from Destiny. Students that are no longer in the district need to be deleted. The SIS (Student Information System like Infinite Campus or School Tool ) adds student records, but cannot remove data. Destiny is not set up to remove inactive patrons, which means each library is responsible for deleting their inactive patrons. Altered Book Project

Susan Kagel, art teacher at Churchville Middle School North took recycling to a new level. The project had students research a “place” and type a one page paper.  Then they had to create an altered book on their chosen place and write an accompanying artist statement about their project. The books they altered were books removed from the library collection.  The projects are displayed in the library.  Thanks to Susan Kagel and Susan Meck for sharing this project. They will each receive a copy of the Reuse, Recycle, Read poster.
