Please do NOT use Internet Explorer when doing inventory. There are complaints posted on the Follett Listserv about Internet Explorer missing barcodes in Inventory. At this time, Follett tech support's response is to 'scan them twice'. This is unacceptable. We recommend using another browser when doing inventory.
- Keep an eye on the screen if you are scanning directly into inventory.
- Look at the list if you're scanning into Notepad.
- Listen for the beep from the scanner and from Destiny (the 'all's well' sound).
